How do I know if I can use my mobile phone on the Bouygues Telecom network in france?
Please check that:
- Your operator has a roaming agreement with Bouygues Telecom.
- You have activated the international roaming service/option.
- No restrictions on international calls apply.
- Your mobile is one of the following types:
- dual-band GSM 900-DCS 1800,
- tri-band GSM 900-1900-DCS 1800 or single-band DCS 1800,
- quad-band GSM 900/1800/1900/850 or 3G 2100 compatible.
What do I do if my mobile won't work?
First of all, make sure that your operator has activated roaming for your number and that no restrictions on international calls apply.
If you still can't make/receive calls, contact your operator's customer support service. Be sure to write down the number you need to access your operator's customer support service from a fixed-line phone.
Do my friends and family need to dial a different number to contact me when I'm in France?
Not at all!
Thanks to roaming agreements between operators, your number remains the same wherever you are in France. And with the extended coverage offered by the Bouygues Telecom network, your friends and family will be able to reach you practically anywhere.
Will I receive a bill from Bouygues Telecom for the calls I make and receive on its network in France?
No. The roaming agreement between your operator and Bouygues Telecom means the calls you make and receive on the Bouygues Telecom network will be included on the bill you receive from your own operator, and charged at the rates your operator applies.
