Before you leave

Will my phone work in France and other countries?

To use our network, please make sure your operator has a roaming agreement with Bouygues Telecom.

Make sure your phone is compatible with the Bouygues Telecom GSM 1800/900 and 3G 2100 network (UMTS, HSDPA)

Are there restrictions on my overseas calls?

Please contact your customer service department before you leave to check whether any restrictions apply to making international calls from France (access to roaming service, call restrictions, blocked numbers, etc.).

Will my voicemail work?

To check your voice mail while in France, you usually need to enter an access code. For more information, please contact your customer service department before you leave.

Are the numbers in my directory saved?

Make sure that the numbers stored in your directory are correctly programmed for international access.
For example: dial "+" or "00" + country code + area code + telephone number. The + sign is a universal prefix for international calls.
To avoid any problems during your visit, we recommend that you save the number for your home customer service department, including the international access prefix, before you leave.

How can I recharge my phone?

Please note that in France the voltage is 220 volts and the electric socket uses a specific 2-pronged plug. If the electric plug format is different in your country, remember to bring an adapter so that you can recharge your phone.

* Before you leave, remember to save the number for your customer help hotline, including the international access code.
